For over forty years, we have led groups of people just like you on short-term missions to the Dominican Republic. Mission trips are crucial to God‘s work in our organization‘s ministry. Participants in our mission trips represent the heart of Christ, forging lifelong relationships and memories, and making a kingdom impact for God. Mission work is essential to the physical, spiritual, and intellectual growth of the communities we serve. Experience God through our mission trips to serve others in construction, education, healthcare, and community development.
Our mission trips are focused in the Dominican Republic, in communities that love and serve the Lord, away from urban centers and with limited resources. We serve schools by delivering Bible study programs, teaching English, celebrating the arts, and supporting teacher development. We also serve schools through construction, facility upgrades, and improvements. Our missions also serve healthcare through week-long clinic work onsite in the community, caring for over 800 individuals each trip. Finally, teams move out into surrounding communities to deliver nutrition, build homes, and pray over the ill and needy.
Our mission is deeply rooted in the biblical value that we take the side of the needy, bringing them comfort, support, and empowerment. These values guide our mission trips:
- Compassion and Brotherly Love
- Wise Stewardship
- Sustainability
- Partnering with Others
Our trips are designed to accommodate all types of people and groups. They are also affordable and easy to participate in. Most importantly, they are intended to focus on building maintainable communities, empowering local leadership, delivering gospel truths, and creating lifelong relationships between team members and the local people. Teams are formed from church groups, companies, schools, universities, social groups, and families. Trips can range from seven to fifteen days or more and are completely tailored to your needs. Everyone has a role in the mission: Laypeople, pastors, healthcare providers, students, parents and grandparents. families, teachers, tradespeople, and more! Even if you don‘t have a group formed, we have room for you! We host two to three open mission trips yearly, focused on specific themes and purposes.

What is the mission campus like?
Each location is different, but for the most part, you will be staying onsite in separate gender-specific dorms. Some locations require a stay in a nearby quality hotel. Our onsite dorms are recently renovated and provide tile flooring, individual showers, and bathroom stalls, shared sinks, bunk beds with nearby electrical outlets and charging ports for cell phones, and overhead fans.
What happens when we arrive in the Dominican Republic?
Upon arrival, your team will be greeted by our local representative, and your bags will be loaded into the bus and transport trailer. You’ll be driven to your mission site as a team, where you will be introduced to the rest of the onsite mission staff.
What will our daily schedule look like?
Each trip is different, as we tailor it to your needs and interests. But for the most part, the days will be early with breakfast as a group in the mission site's cafeteria. We encourage each team to consider holding daily devotionals, which we would gladly help you develop before your trip. The remainder of the day will be spent on mission work, with lunch provided around noon. Evenings, we encourage a debriefing on the day, usually after dinner is served. Our mission leaders will be happy to participate. On Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings, we host church services. and some teams include an end-of-trip outing to local attractions or a resort.
What will we eat while there?
The Dominican Republic offers a wonderful variety of foods prepared for you by our mission staff chefs and served in the mission cafeteria, with local community members joining in on the meals. Breakfasts are usually sweet bread, fruit, and protein, with rich coffee and delicious juices. Lunch is the largest meal of the day and includes protein, a starch such as plantains or yucca, and a vegetable. Dinner is a lighter meal of sandwiches, soups, or stews.
